In the textile work Unnamed,  erratic red stitches join cut pieces of second-hand baby clothes, bath towels and bonnets. Fixed to the wall with dissection pins, Barkun’s seven Frankenstein-like constructions embody imagined embryos created in laboratory during her five failed cycles of in vitro fertilization.
